Are You Losing
Height?
One
of the most common signs that you need chiropractic care is loss of
height. Although with age
people often lose height - that doesn't have to be.
Most height loss is due to spinal disc thinning and abnormal curves
due to years of poor spinal health and bad posture.
Chiropractic has been able to halt height loss and even return some

Irritable Bowel Syndrome
and Chiropractic
Irritable
bowel syndrome (also called mucous colitis and nervous bowel affects)
affects millions. It is an
uncomfortable condition with cramping, abdominal pain, diarrhea or
constipation, heartburn or upper abdominal indigestion.
In this study a 25-year-old woman with chronic irritable bowel
syndrome for the past five years visited a chiropractor.
Her symptoms began to disappear that day and two years later she
remained symptom free.(2)
Disc Herniation and
Chiropractic
Can
chiropractic reverse neck and low back disc herniation?
27 patients with painful disc herniations of the neck and low back
(lumbar) spine received chiropractic care.
MRIs revealed that in 63% of the patients the herniations had
completely disappeared or been reduced.

Ear Infection and
Chiropractic
A
child had chronic ear infections since birth for the first year of his
life. He received a
chiropractic adjustment at 11 months of age and after 8 weeks of care the
child had not experienced an ear infection for one month and had not had
any drugs or antibiotics since chiropractic care.
Improvements in personality and behavior were noted by the mother,
babysitters and the chiropractor.(4)
Fibromyalgia and
Chiropractic
Five
men and 18 women (11 to 76 years of age) suffering from fibromyalgia and
chronic fatigue syndrome for 2 to 35 years began chiropractic care. The number of visits ranged from 20 to 48.
Every patient improved to such a degree they were able to resume
normal activities including full time work at 1 to 1½ year follow up.
The improvement in symptoms ranged from 92 to 100%.(5)
Pelvic Pain and
Chiropractic
A
woman suffered diarrhea, pelvic pain and reduced genital sensitivity for
18 years. Because of reduced
genital sensitivity, she had been unable to experience orgasm and had
pelvic pain during intercourse. MDs
treated her with an appendectomy for abdominal pain (appendix was normal),
partial hysterectomy and left fallopian tube removal, three exploratory
bowel surgeries for chronic diarrhea, pain, rectal bleeding and mucous
discharge and four bladder surgeries – all without resolution.
Within eight weeks of her first adjustment there was a complete
resolution of symptoms including pelvic pain and diarrhea.
Genital sensitivity improved and patient was able to achieve orgasm
on a regular basis after thirty weeks.(6)

common and milder in babies who are breastfed; a marked reduction in the
risk of developing ovarian cancer was associated with having breastfed;

New Medical
Device?
One
day an old lady's dog passed out on her floor.
She was used to her dog playing dead, so she thought nothing of it,
but three days passed and still the dog didn't move, so she became
worried. She took the dog to
her local veterinarian.
The vet set
the dog on an observation table and began examining the dog. A couple minutes later, the vet left the room.
Then he returned with a cage and inside the cage was a cat.
He set the cage next to the dog and let the cat out.
The cat walked
around the dog three times then went back into his cage.
A few minutes
later the vet came to the old lady and said, "I'm sorry, but you're
dog is dead. That'll be $250
dollars."
"$250
dollars! For what?!," shouted the old lady.
"Well,
$50 dollars for the examination, and $200 dollars for the cat scan."

Vaccination
News
As
many of you may have heard on the news, the Institute of Medicine (IOM)
recently came out with a report supposedly saying that the
measles-mumps-rubella vaccine (MMR) doesn't cause autism.
This report was a sham. Dan
Burton (R-Ind.), Chairman of the House Committee on Government Reform,
said the analysis was a "disservice to the American people."
"You
can't tell me, the committee chairman, under oath, that there's no causal
link, because you just don't know, do you?" Burton asked Marie
McCormick, MD, ScD, of the Harvard School of Public Health and IOM panel
chairwoman.
"I don't know," responded McCormick.
At least two of the report's reviewers have financial ties to the
pharmaceutical industry. Congressman
Burton wants to see the financial records of all the committee members and
reviewers. It was revealed
that Merck, the drug company that makes the MMR vaccine supplied some of
the studies.
Conditions believed caused by the MMR shot or other vaccines are asthma,
allergies, autism, crib death (SIDS), developmental disorders, vision or
hearing problems, ear infections, lowered resistance and ADD/ADHD
(attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder) among others.
These conditions were rare before mass vaccination programs.(7)

Why Do Children
Need Chiropractic Care?
Many
babies suffer some form of spinal stress due to labor, delivery and
childbirth. Please bring in
your children for a spinal checkup. Even
if they have no symptoms we can check your child for subluxations and
correct them before they have problems.
And if your child does have health problems, no matter what it is,
a chiropractic exam is essential.

The Placebo
A
man brings his asthmatic child to the chiropractor.
The child's breathing improves and the number and severity of attacks
begins to diminish almost immediately.
He goes to his MD.
"Why didn't you tell me chiropractic could help my child's
asthma?"
"It's just placebo," his MD responded.
"Why didn't you tell me chiropractic was such a good placebo for
asthma?" the father said.
(Note: Placebo is just another word for our ability to tap the natural
healing ability or our inner doctor).
