So you’re interested in becoming a patient…that’s great!  To start the process, all you have to do is call our office at (253) 460-4244 and set up a time with Kami.  She’ll be happy to assist you in finding the best time to schedule your first appointment.  You can even fill out your initial paperwork on our web site.

On the first appointment, we’ll need you to fill out a couple forms that will help us understand your problem more fully.  Once you’re done, you’ll meet with Drs. Roundy or DeCapp and they’ll spend between 30-60 minutes with you.  During this time, a review of your pertinent history will be covered, a Chiropractic examination will be performed, and if you’re accepted as a patient, radiographs (x-rays) will be performed.

Following the consultation, examination and radiographs, you’ll be asked to set up an appointment for the earliest date possible (preferably one or two days later).

On your second visit, Drs. Roundy or DeCapp will review your examination and radiographic findings.  Any questions that you have will be eagerly addressed.  Once all questions have been answered and all of your findings have been covered, you will then walk down the hall into one of our six adjusting rooms.

Before you’re adjusted, Drs. Roundy or DeCapp will explain how the adjustment works and what it will feel like (very, very gentle!).  Because we use an Atlas Orthogonal Percussion Instrument, your neck will never be twisted or popped.  The Doctors at our office only perform the most gentle and specific methods available today.

Once Drs. Roundy or DeCapp determines that the adjustment was successful, you’ll head back down the hall to the examination room and take one or two post-adjustment films.  These follow-up films will be analyzed and compared to your original, pre-adjustment films; they tell the Doctors if the adjustment was right on target, or if the adjustment needs to be changed in any way.

On subsequent visits, Drs. Roundy or DeCapp will determine whether or not you are subluxated and in need of a specific chiropractic adjustment.  If you’re subluxated, they will adjust – If you’re not subluxated, they will estimate your spinal stability and set up a later appointment.
